Working in tandem with CHOP’s researchers and support staff, DBHi’s Translational Informatics Group (TRiG) tackle “deep dive” data integration projects primarily focusing on rare disease research. These complex projects require the collection and management of data from various sources including phenotypic, genotypic, specimens, images, wearable devices, pedigree, and clinical information. The TRiG routinely disseminates newly developed methods for research staff and colleagues to operationalize infrastructure.

The team helps researchers navigate CHOP’s complex data environment including integrating the Arcus data program into their projects. Data privacy is assured through the use of an electronic Honest Broker.
