The InCommon Federation provides secure single sign-on access to cloud and local services, and global collaboration tools. They connect millions of users and hundreds of educational institutions, research organizations, and commercial resource providers.

This means that if you request access from member institutions, they can use your CHOP credentials to provide authorization to InCommon linked applications and resources. This includes institutions like the NIH or University of Pennsylvania. A full list of participating institutions can be obtained at, https://incommon.org/community-organizations/.
We have successfully tested access with the NIH and The Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati.

For security purposes this functionality is limited to CHOP “Full Time Regular” employees. Students and collaborators should use credentials from their home institutions or such authentication as the resource provider deems appropriate.
