Collaborative Networks

Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN)

With support from HRSA, PECARN performs high quality, multicenter research into the prevention and management of acute illnesses and injuries in children across the continuum of emergency medicine healthcare.

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Research Committee (PEM CRC)

PEM CRC is a subcommittee of the Section of Emergency Medicine at the American Academy of Pediatrics. The PEM CRC provides a framework for unfunded multicenter investigation, serving to support and facilitate the development of useful and rigorous collaborative research in PEM at more than 40 active member sites.

Pediatric Emergency Research Networks (PERN)

PERN is an association of pediatric emergency medicine research networks. This association enables dialogue between member networks and collaboration between large numbers of researchers and investigative sites across the world. Such a collaboration brings unique opportunities to answer globally relevant research questions via large collaborative research studies that can only be performed in the international context with large numbers of children assessed in diverse environments.
