Philadelphia Campus is home to CHOP’s main campus complex, encompassing a 546-bed pediatric hospital primarily dedicated to inpatient care. Specialty and advanced capabilities include the Harriet and Ronald Lassin Newborn/Infant Intensive Care Unit; Garbose Family Special Delivery Unit, the world's first birth facility exclusively for mothers delivering babies with birth defects; comprehensive cardiac care facilities; and emergency department, which was the first accredited Level 1 Trauma Center for children in the Delaware Valley.

Additional facilities at the Philadelphia Campus location include the Leonard and Madlyn Abramson Pediatric Research Center, Colket Translational Research Building; Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care; Roberts Center for Pediatric Research, Wood Center, and Children's Seashore House.
