Call for Applications: Foerderer Grants 2022

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute announces the 2022 solicitation for its internal award competition, the Foerderer Fund for Excellence.

Foerderer Awards are designed to allow ongoing research to move into new and productive areas, or investigators to apply new research techniques toward novel investigations.

Clinical, translational, and basic research projects are eligible. Projects should be designed to result in preliminary data to support extramural funding applications. Proposals involving collaborative research between different groups at CHOP are encouraged. Applicants may request up to $50,000 over one year.

Eligibility

Individuals based at CHOP with faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as clinical and postdoctoral fellows at CHOP, are eligible to apply.

If the potential applicant does not hold a faculty appointment, a letter of endorsement from the relevant Chair, Chief, or Center Director is required to be submitted with the application.
