ORC Workshop: “Preparing for a Monitoring Visit: Considerations for on-site and remote activities”

The Office of Research Compliance will be hosting a virtual workshop in collaboration with members of the Oncology Protocol Support Office to offer guidance and resources for clinical research personnel focusing on preparing for monitoring visits and considerations for both on-site and remote monitoring activities.

The objectives of this workshop include the following:

  • Provide guidance to support the clinical research community in preparing for on-site and/or remote monitors
  • Share experience with onboarding external monitors for access to CHOP systems
  • Explore options for conducting remote monitoring activities and providing electronic access to research records
  • Share suggestions for navigating difficult discussions regarding corrective actions proposed during a monitoring visit
