Submit Preliminary Applications for the 2025 Pew-Stewart Scholars Program for Cancer Research

Early-career faculty are invited to submit preliminary applications for the  2025 Pew-Stewart Scholars Program for Cancer Research. . An internal selection committee, including current and former Pew Scholars, will select one application to represent Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Pew-Stewart Scholars Program for Cancer Research supports promising early-career scientists whose research will accelerate discovery and advance progress toward a cure for cancer. 

The program supports the independent research of outstanding individuals who are in the first three years of their appointment at the assistant professor level. Time spent in clinical internships, residencies, in work toward board certification, or on parental leave does not count as part of this four-year limit.

The award provides $300,000 in flexible support distributed as $75,000 per year over a four-year period.
