eSHIP is Here!
All CHOP Research Institute staff now have access to eSHIP via the Office of Research Safety.
Shippers can see options for carriers, convenient labeling and classification of shipments, cost/rate comparison, and more. This compliance-based system serves as the one-stop-shop for your shipping needs. The single sign-on enabled CHOP application is now available right at your fingertips!
CHOP has engaged eShipGlobal, Inc. to manage and provide shipping services for CHOP’s Research Institute effective Dec. 27, 2022. eShipGlobal is intended to replace the traditional use of UPS and FedEx. We ask for your support in making these changes to shipping procedures when shipping from CHOP Research Institute.
Some of the key advantages of using eShipGlobal include the ability to:
- Leverage centralized CHOP RI carrier account numbers with discounted rates
- Select the preferred carrier and service from a single application
- Print waybills, return labels, hazmat shipping labels, and documentation
- Track packages in transit
- Ensure export and hazmat shipping compliance
- Automate billing, audit, invoicing and payment processes
- Compare shipping services and costs side-by-side
All Faculty and Staff who ship should first register an account by selecting the eShipGlobal icon from the My Apps page located on your desktop.
Once your account is registered, please select a training class which will provide the opportunity to ask questions about the system and the services provided, as well as cover how to create shipments, pull reports, and much more.
Please be sure to pre-register as limited seats are available. More training dates will be made available.
