This is a study to measure the effectiveness of the medication voclosporin compared to placebo in adolescent patients with active lupus nephritis. Volcosporin is an outpatient, oral medication.

Visit Criteria

Along with taking voclosporin, participants will also:
  • Provide blood and urine samples
  • Complete physical exams
  • Complete an ECG (electrocardiogram) 
  • Complete questionnaires and a disease activity assessment
  • Take MMF (mycophenolate mofetil)/oral corticosteroids 
  • Have methylprednisolone administration
  • Have medical record review(s)
Participation will last for 24 weeks and will involve 14 study visits.
