Eric Porsch is Scientist II and Lab Manager of the St. Geme Lab.
Scientist II and Lab Manager Eric Porsch received his PhD from Duke University in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology in 2012. In the St. Geme Lab, he has established and refined many of the techniques now utilized for the study of K. kingae pathogenicity. In addition, Porsch serves as a scientific member of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). He resides in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fishing, grilling, and smoking various meats.
