OCCRC 101: Navigating Contractual Speedbumps

The Office of Collaborative and Corporate Research Contracts (OCCRC) is pleased to announce the second in its regular virtual series entitled “OCCRC 101,” which addresses topics affecting the research community, particularly as they relate to the agreements we negotiate. Presentations are recorded, and, when available, posted on our internal website.

The second installment will be held Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at noon, and is subtitled “Navigating Contractual Speedbumps.” The one-hour course will review:

• Complex agreement clauses in OCCRC agreements
• The impact these clauses have on current and future research
• Why CHOP cannot always agree to the other party’s preferred language
• CHOP’s standard positions for these problematic clauses
