The new National Institutes of Health data management and sharing policy (taking effect in less than two years) will require expanded use of data management plans and data management and sharing practices. We expect this policy will affect the majority of researchers at CHOP.

The purpose of this survey is to better understand your experience and comfort with Research Data Management (RDM) practices and to identify any gaps in CHOP practices and services so that we can suggest options to address those needs.

In thinking about your responses, please consider the types of research you engage in most frequently. Please use the free-text section to express additional thoughts about RDM, or if you feel any of the questions fail to accurately capture an issue of importance.

As RDM becomes more critical as funding agencies impose rules to make research data more shareable, reusable, and reproducible, it is important that we are able to address your requirements.

Please feel free to share this survey with PIs, study coordinators, fellows, and any other study staff who may be involved with data management or data sharing.
