Clinical Futures, a Center of Emphasis within Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) Research Institute, is celebrating its first anniversary.

Clinical Futures originated as part of CHOP's Pediatric Generalist Research Group, which was formed to perform health services research. In 2007, the Pediatric Generalist Research Group split into two centers, the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness (CPCE) and PolicyLab. Under the leadership of Director Alexander Fiks, MD, MSCE CPCE began a strategic planning initiative in 2019 to clarify the Center's vision and enhance its impact on pediatric clinical effectiveness research.

In 2022, CPCE underwent a renaming process to become Clinical Futures. Since October 2022, Clinical Futures has continued to achieve excellence in pediatric research and implementation. In this video, watch as their passionate and dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, biostatisticians, private investigators, faculty, and leadership proudly tell the story of Clinical Futures.
