The work of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia researchers leads to novel findings and recognitions.

The Tsui Laboratory integrates healthcare and patient data and develops end-to-end real-time artificial intelligence decision support systems to impact hospital staff, patients, and public health by decreasing costs, morbidity and mortality, and to increase efficiency and quality of care.

The Department of Biomedical and Health Informatics (DBHi) explores how data, technology, and knowledge converge to improve scientific research and patient care.

Dr. Tsui's research interests include clinical informatics, natural language processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, population informatics, data science, signal processing, mobile healthcare, and large real-time clinical production systems. He's published over 100 peer-reviewed papers.
