Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Topjian is a pediatric critical care medicine physician and director of the NeuroCritical Care and Long-Term Outcomes Program at CHOP and professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research area is cardiac arrest, specifically post cardiac arrest care and pediatric neurocritical care.

Robert Berg, MD, receives Distinguished Career Award from American Academy of Pediatrics for his contributions to the field of resuscitation science.

Supporting the development and commercialization of promising medical devices that address unmet clinical needs in children.

Dr. Berg is a resuscitation scientist with extensive clinical and preclinical translational laboratory experience in the areas of cardiac arrest, VF, defibrillation, and personalized physiologic-directed CPR. He has substantial expertise in conducting multicenter observational and interventional trials.
