School Mental Health

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether a small-group organizational skills training program was effective in improving third through fifth graders' organization skills, homework and academic performance and whether these improvements continued two and nine months after the program ended.

Ricardo Eiraldi, PhD, leads Project RISE, an initiative to support city schools in evidence-based practices for behavioral health.

Dr. Mautone's research focuses on equitable access to and utilization of high quality, culturally responsive behavioral health interventions, with a focus on interventions for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and related difficulties. She has expertise in family-school-health system collaboration, classroom consultation, integrated behavioral health in primary care settings, and school mental health programing.
