Adobe Products
Adobe products can be requested via the Research Device and Application Request System. Licenses are cloud-based and are assigned per employee and can be used on one device at a time. CHOP utilizes the Adobe Value Incentive Plan (VIP) which is a subscription licensing program with simple and secure management capabilities, flexible terms that give you lots of choices, and discount levels that increase as you make additional purchases. The CHOP VIP agreements are for 12-month subscriptions that are renewed on an annual basis. Each department has a VIP agreement with a designated admin that is responsible for assigning and keeping track of licenses.
When you submit your request for an Adobe product, please be sure to include the employee's name who will be receiving the license, the employee's department's name, and the employee's manager's name/email. We will need this information to determine what VIP account to purchase your license under. If you know who your department's VIP admin or VIP agreement number is, please include that in the request. RIS EUTS analysts will receive a quote from the vendor and purchase the license. The order is then sent to Adobe where it can take 1-3 business days for the license to be activated. Once the license is activated, an email will be sent to your Adobe VIP admin to assign the license which generates a welcome email with an installation link. From there a RIS EUTS analyst will assist with completing the installation of the software.
Prism GraphPad
GraphPad is an annual subscription that expires each May, and as a result requires a paid renewal fee. Requests received during the 3 months leading up to the renewal in May (Feb., Mar., Apr.) can be transferred to the new license without an additional fee. A renewal fee will be required the following May.
