Request Computer Software Installation
Note:
If you are requesting software that requires a purchase, please use the Request Computer Software Purchasing service.
Administrator access is required for all software installations on CHOP Information Services imaged hardware. To request software be installed on your CHOP imaged hardware please submit a request to the Employee Service Portal, using the steps below:
Software Installation Workflow
Software Installation Request: For free or self-purchased software installation via ESP Other Application Form(Log in Required).
Software Installation Manager Approval: Your manager will receive an approval notification. Approval is necessary to move to the next step.
Software Security Review: Risk assessment is required for software not already approved by CHOP InfoSec and Supply Chain.
Software Installation Fulfillment: RIS Technician will contact you to setup a time to install the software for you.
Check Request Status
To check the status of your request, go to the CHOP Employee Service Portal (Log in required), under "My Requests", open specific request record and in right column under "Stage" within the request record will be the request status.
