The Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs offers all incoming postdoctoral fellows one-on-one or small group meetings that provide fellows with information and materials pertinent to their training position, including:

  • Expectations of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia postdoc fellows
  • Services and support for postdoc fellows
  • Educational programming
  • Information relating to required research training
  • Overview of the annual review process and the postdoc evaluation form
  • NIH stipend guidelines for postdoctoral fellows
  • Enrollment in the UPenn Biomedical Postdoctoral Program

These welcome sessions will be scheduled by office staff soon after each fellow's appointment at CHOP. You may also reach out to schedule a welcome session.
