Technology awareness and utilization within the research community can greatly impact research discovery. The Research Information Services (RIS) Outreach Services team relentlessly works to connect researchers and administrators with the information services they need to succeed. RIS Outreach Services has over a decade of experience, access to all RIS technology teams, and collaborates with CHOP Digital & Technology Services to improve productivity and efficiency, and aid researchers in their child healthcare research discoveries and innovations.

Faculty IS Consultations

Providing additional layer of consultation and advisory service for Research Institute faculty and staff on available information service technologies.

IS Education

Educating CHOP Research Institute community about Research Information Services through website articles, online seminars, and campus announcements.

Client Experience Enhancements

Educate faculty and staff to increase knowledge and utilization of Research Information Services, and monitor their immediate and long-term information service needs, improve Research Information Services communications, services, support, and workflows. Provide IS request escalation management and assistance.

CHOP Information Services Liaison

Coordinating and collaborating between CHOP Information Services department and Research Information Services to reduce support and services discrepancies and improve overall performance and client facing responsiveness. Optimize and improve Research Information Services related ServiceNow and Service Desk support workflows and configuration to better meet our common client bases IS
