Dr. Sengupta is a neonatologist and physician scientist with a long-standing interest in lung health. She studies the mechanisms of circadian regulation of lung inflammation, injury, and repair; and the effect of early life exposures on development and function of pulmonary circadian networks in adulthood.
Dr. Young’s translational research program aims to understand mechanisms underlying interstitial and rare lung diseases and develop new strategies to treat these disorders. Her laboratory focuses on the roles of epithelial cells in alveolar homeostasis, injury, and repair.
Dr. Nadir Yehya is interested in all aspects of mechanical ventilation and respiratory failure in children, including pre-clinical models, ventilator-induced lung injury, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
