Peter S. Choi, PhD
Peter S. Choi Headshot

Dr. Choi's research focuses on the role of RNA-binding proteins in the regulation of alternative splicing and how mutations in these factors contribute to cancer. He uses a combination of genetically-engineered models and high-throughput approaches to better understand how alternative splicing influences cellular function and to identify potential opportunities for therapeutic intervention.

Jennifer Pogoriler, MD, PhD
Jennifer Pogoriler

Dr. Pogoriler's research focuses on pediatric lung disease and neoplasia. These interests come together in her work on congenital cystic lung lesions and their potential premalignant diagnosis. She collaborates with both clinicians and basic scientists on pediatric cancer research.

Robert B. (Brad) Lindell, MD
Robert B. (Brad) Lindell, MD

Dr. Lindell’s research program is centered on the biology of critical illness in children with immune dysfunction. His current translational research is focused on pediatric septic shock and the development of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) in critically-ill children.

Will Bailis, PhD
Will Bailis

Dr. Bailis aims to understand how metabolism underlies immunology and disease, by controlling the biochemistry of cells and tissues. His lab does so using in vitro and in vivo CRISPR engineering of primary human and mouse immune cells, with the goal of developing diet and metabolite based therapies.

N. Scott Adzick, MD, MMM, FACS, FAAP
N. Scott Adzick

The founder and director of CHOP's Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment, Dr. Adzick is an innovator in the field of fetal medicine, pursuing groundbreaking prenatal treatment for debilitating birth defects. He led the NIH-funded "Management of Myelomeningocele Study" (MOMS) at CHOP, a breakthrough research program that showed fetal surgery for spina bifida results in significantly improved outcomes.
