NIH Data Management and Sharing Plan Policy & Implementation

Effective January 25, 2023 all NIH grant applications that generate scientific data must include a detailed plan, 2 pages or less in length, related to managing and storing data through the duration of the funded period as well as data dissemination. This information should be provided in a Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMSP).

NIH Biosketch and Other Support Guidance

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued new requirements for Other Support reporting and Biographical Sketches (Biosketches) submitted on or after January 25, 2022. The Pre- and Post-Award Research Administration team can help ensure that CHOP is compliant with these federal mandates and offers several templates and job aids.

eSPA Fundamentals Course

The eSPA Fundamentals course, offered remotely on a quarterly basis via Workday Learning, provides an overview of CHOP’s eSPA system and its grants process. It is intended for new investigators and the administrative staff involved in the proposal process. The course handout is available to the entire research community.
