Wondwossen Lerebo is a biostatistician and data scientist for the Radiology Clinical Research Core.
Dr. Lerebo earned his PhD in Public Health and Biostatistics from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa in 2014 and studied at Harvard Medical School's Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program in 2022. Before joining CHOP, Dr. Lerebo worked as an associate professor of Biostatistics at Mekelle University, senior biostatistician at Tulane International Ethiopia, a global health statistics consultant at UNICEF, and most recently as a data scientist at Genworth Financial. He also consulted for WHO on a multi-country research study titled "Innovative approach for potential scale-up to jump-start simplified management of sick young infants with possible serious bacterial infection when a referral is not feasible: findings from implementation research."
