Bio
Dr. Chung has a clinical focus on youth and young adults with chronic conditions and health complexity. His focus is on applying youth development principles and strength-based approaches to support youth in achieving positive and rewarding futures.
Dr. Chung’s broader professional focus is on reshaping systems and structures, both within and outside of healthcare, to better meet the needs of children and young adults in an equitable manner.
His work includes population health management approaches geared towards improving young patients' healthcare experiences and outcomes throughout the transition to adulthood, as well as cross-sectoral partnerships which underscore the importance of educational, vocational, social, and cultural resources in the lives of youth.
