Leila Bateman the manager of clinical data management for Data and Statistical Core at the Center for Autism Research, which builds and optimizes scientific data integration and management, data discovery, reporting, and analysis across the Center.
Bio
Leila Bateman (she/her) is the manager of clinical data management at the Center for Autism Research (CAR). Bateman leads the strategy and operations for CAR's Data and Statistical Core, which builds and optimizes scientific data reporting and management, data discovery, and data integration across CAR's research portfolio. She also partners with CAR's leaders and core staff to develop and provide learning and training resources, including managing CAR's Student and Volunteer program and internal staff learning communities.
Bateman studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, and has previously worked as an artist and project Manager at the Philadelphia Traction Company. She joined CAR in 2014 and has worked as a clinical research student, assistant, coordinator, and project manager. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania.
