Dr. Laura De Leon Benedetti is a radiology research scholar supporting the fetal imaging section. Dr. De Leon Benedetti obtained her medical degree from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia in 2021.

Before starting this role, she worked with Hansel Otero, MD, FAAP, Vice Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Radiology, supporting the Global Outreach and Education Program. She also worked with Aashim Bhatia, MD, MS, radiologist in the Division of Neuroradiology.
