David Le, PhD, is a research postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiology under Misun Hwang, MD. He is working on developing novel ultrasound imaging strategies for improved diagnostics, primarily related to blood flow. Dr. Le was most recently a PhD student in the joint biomedical engineering program at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University where his thesis focused on creating artificial intelligence systems for detecting venous gas emboli in post-decompression echocardiograms.
