The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is committed to supporting the career goals of junior and senior investigators at the Research Institute by creating a faculty environment that facilitates breakthroughs in research and innovation. Working across the six clinical departments at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the OFD welcomes new faculty to the Research Institute, offers tools to career success, administers the annual CHOP Faculty Award Mentor program, and keeps researchers up to date through the OFD website. The website is a centralized resource repository that features a Funding Forecaster, samples of successful CHOP-authored grants, descriptions of academic tracks and promotion requirements, and more.
