Multiple members of the lab contributed to this project that detailed specific behavior change techniques that have been used in pediatric sleep intervention and documents key behavior change techniques that are most effective.

Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Cielo are named directors of the CHOP Pediatric Sleep and Circadian Research Affinity Group. This RAG provides a home for investigators with expertise in sleep and circadian fields doing a broad array of clinical research at CHOP.

Dr. Mitchell senior-authored this study that revealed associations between sleep health and blood pressure among youth referred for elevate blood pressure evaluation.

Dr. Chen presented findings from a study that is assessing the performance of machine learning algorithms applied to actigraphy for sleep detection in children.

Emily was a CRC in the lab for 2 years. She left the lab and enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh Dental School that has a curriculum that focuses on person-centered care, professionalism and ethics, community outreach, and evidence-based medicine. Congratulation to Emily!

Dr. Chen presented finding from a study evaluating the performance of an automated sleep scoring approach for actigraphy data in children. And Dr. Decker presented data on diet quality and chrono-nutrition traits in adolescents.
