High Throughput Sequencing (HTS) Core is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility providing instrumentation, library preparation, and sequencing services to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania, and external investigators in genomic, epigenomic and transcriptomic studies. Our goal is to make HTS Core accessible to everyone interested in genomic studies. HTS Core provides next-generation sequencing services on Illumina® platforms, and Oxford Nanopore Technologies.

The Core facility operates NovaSeq X Plus, NovaSeq6000, NextSeq1000, and PromethION24 instruments.

HTS Core has capabilities ranging from short-read sequencing of miRNAs to long-read whole genome sequencing. Services are available for a diversity of study designs. Starting from a minimum of 12 samples to large projects involving hundreds of samples, we work with investigators to provide optimized protocols for each study. The Core develops new applications to accommodate advancing sequencing technologies.

Services and pricing information are available through the HTS Core iLab portal.
