Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez will discuss her research about mining social media data for health concerns. She is associate professor of Informatics in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
She also serves as senior faculty of the Institute of Biomedical Informatics at Penn, and as director of the Health Language Processing Center within the institute.
