Join us to connect with fellow postdoc women as our peer Sarah Monaco, PhD, a postdoctoral fellow, discusses How to Do Nothing.

Topics of discussion will be based on concepts outlined in the novel "How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy" by Jenny Odell.

This informal session will address how we should reframe our relationship with academic narratives of burnout culture and hyperproductivity. We will redefine what constitutes "productive" and emphasize how maintenance work is devalued.
