Nuts and Bolts of Submitting Grants at CHOP

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Outline the major steps in submitting grant applications, from identifying funding opportunities to establishing a grant-writing time-table to submitting applications on CHOP’s electronic Sponsored Projects Administration (eSPA) tool.
• Leverage the numerous grant-related services and resources provided by the Offices of Pre- and Post-Award Research Administration, and by the Research Institute at large.
• Establish productive working relationships with Sponsored Project Officers (SPO), Grants and Contracting Specialists (GSC) and Research Business Managers (RMB).
