Minds Matter Model: Implementation of an Acute Concussion Management Plan

During this virtual webinar, participants will learn about the implementation of acute concussion management in a clinical setting, including updated research and demonstration of objective concussion examination, documentation examples, and best practices for developing a patient care plan.

Objectives

  1. Understand management of acute concussion care
  2. Demonstrate visio-vestibular exam (VVE) and recognize deficits in vestibular function
  3. Integrate return to cognitive and physical activity as part of the recovery process from concussion

This professional education webinar is designed for those who work directly with athletes or participants with acute concussion including athletic trainers, nurses and physicians, which may include practitioners in sports medicine, primary care or family medicine. The cost of attendance for this event is $42 for athletic trainers and nurses; $62 for physicians.
