Community-Driven Research Day
2716 South Street
Philadelphia, PA 19146
United States
Community-Driven Research Day (CDRD) encourages collaborations between researchers, community-based organizations (CBOs), and community groups who have research questions that they are interested in answering. The focus of CDRD is about making connections, and the CDRD organizing committee is willing to help facilitate connections, specifically in ways that address social determinants of health.
Through an interactive poster session, CBOs and community groups will present their questions to CDRD participants, who include area non-profits, community groups, public sector partners, and researchers from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Drexel University, Thomas Jefferson University, and La Salle University. Attendees will be able to meet and discuss potential collaborations that benefit community partners.
2024 Keynote Panel
An esteemed panel of past CDRD awardees and community-driven research experts will present on effective community-academic collaborations.
Registration is required. Presenters can answer a call for submission by Jan. 19, and non-presenters can register to attend by Jan. 31. Visit our website for more information.
