Keynote speaker

Patrese Robinson-Drummer, PhD
Assistant Professor
Department of Neuroscience
Haverford College

Dr. Robinson-Drummer will describe her career journey and how being a black woman in STEM has informed her career decisions that led to doing research in an all-undergraduate institution. There will be discussion about ways in which life sciences research programs can flourish at small liberal arts (SLAC) or predominantly undergraduate institutions (PUI) and explore the benefits/challenges associated with doing research at SLAC/PUIs.

Lunch will be provided. Space is limited and once registration is complete, a calendar invitation will be sent with location details.

This event is co-sponsored by Postdocs for Diversity in Science and the Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs.
