The CHOP/Penn Perinatal Infectious Diseases (CPPID) research group brings together investigators from the CHOP/Penn Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, and Division of Perinatal Infectious Diseases. This unique collaboration performs important clinical research on perinatal infectious diseases, including infection transmission and prevention, antibiotic stewardship and resistance, seroepidemiology, the developing microbiome, and more. CPPID investigators have received research funding from NIH, CDC, AHRQ, CHOP, Penn, and PCORI.
