Research underway at the Center for Celiac Disease aims to further characterize the pediatric celiac population. The Center, which is part of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at CHOP, works with the largest pediatric celiac disease patient cohort in the nation, building a specimen repository and collaborating with labs to complete novel research in genomics, metagenomics, and the gut microbiome.
