A warm welcome goes out to Shareen Hinson, MBA, CSM, Senior Project Manager, and Margeya Patel, BS, Project Business Analyst, as they start their positions in the newly formed Research Project Management Office (PMO) at the Research Institute.
 
Shareen Hinson has over 10 years of Project Management, Process Improvement, and IT experience and earned an MBA from Penn State University. Most recently, Shareen managed onshore and offshore teams in Scaled Agile environments as a Scrum Master with AmerisourceBergen and Cigna. She also worked in compliance and regulatory industries, where Shareen focused on instituting departmental process improvements to eliminate waste and improve operational efficiencies. In her new role as Senior Project Manager, Shareen will be managing a wide range of projects supporting Research Administration and the Research PMO’s growth.  
 
Margeya Patel has seven years of combined Business Analysis and Project Management experience and earned a BS in Biology with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cal State Northridge. He worked in research, pharmaceutical, and academic industries, gaining experience in biotechnology, management, process improvement, project management, and clinical research. He has experience within clinical and non-clinical trial related projects as a Business Analyst and most recently as a Lab Project Services Manager at Q Squared Solutions. Margeya will provide support to the Research Institute by defining needs, recommending solutions, driving organizational change, and supporting project management activities as a member of Research PMO team.
