A successful web experience provides the user with their sought-after information in the fewest number of clicks. With this in mind, the team behind Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Research Institute website wanted to create an experience where faculty, staff and the public found information quickly and easily.

This would require a complete restructure and redesign of the now former site. The redesign required the following criteria be met:

1) reduction in duplicative content;

2) simplify navigation;

3) improved user experience (UX/UI); and

4) coherent and intentional communication strategy.
