Preparing for Academic Teaching (PAT) Workshop: Apply by April 25

PAT is a four-week interactive program that is open to CHOP Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Associates, Physician Fellows, Instructors, and Research Scientists. This program is taught by Penn’s Center for Teaching and Learning. The content is designed for individuals who will soon be seeking faculty positions with a significant teaching component.

Topics covered include:

• Developing a Teaching Philosophy
• Making Effective Use of Class Time
• Assessing Student Learning
• Designing a Course
