According to CHOP policy, salaries for postdoctoral fellows are to be in alignment with the most current NIH NRSA pay scale, based on their years of postdoctoral experience. The policy can be viewed in Postdoctoral Fellows: Appointment, Roles, Requirements and Responsibilities and can also be found in the Policy and Procedure System  under the Research Institute Manual under Academic Training and Outreach Programs.

All fellows receiving an annual salary increase on or after March 1, 2021, should be promoted according to this updated pay scale. In addition, all fellows hired on or after March 1, 2021, should receive a salary based on these guidelines. Please consult your business manager for additional guidance in this matter.

All postdoctoral fellows, regardless of appointment date, should be increased to the new levels by June 30, 2021.
