Apply by Nov. 6 for the Penn Health-Tech Accelerator Program
The Pennsylvania Pediatric Medical Device Consortium (PPDC) at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia welcomes proposals to help advance pediatric medical device development, as part of the Penn Health-Tech Accelerator Program. The lack of pediatric medical devices represents both a major unmet need and a healthcare inequity.
PPDC partnered with Penn Health-Tech (PHT) to connect innovators across the University of Pennsylvania and CHOP and to facilitate innovation in medical devices and healthcare technology. The PHT Accelerator includes participation in the Health-Tech Accelerator Innovation and Commercialization Boot Camp and a yearlong cohort-based program.
Eligibility
All CHOP innovators with pediatric medical device ideas are encouraged to submit proposals for funding and further development.
Proposals are due Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024. Register to apply.
Amount for Funding
Up to $75,000 of project funding is available, aimed at accelerating the lifecycle of innovative healthcare technologies.
Members of the PPDC leadership team are available to advise applicants who are developing ideas and concepts for pediatric medical devices and facilitate the process.
