Apply by Jan. 20 for 2025 Grant Proposal Success Workshop
The Office of Academic Training and Outreach Programs, in collaboration with the Grant Proposal Success (GPS) Program, invites basic, clinical, behavioral, and translational researchers-in-training to apply by Jan. 20, 2025, for the GPS Workshop. The multi-session workshop provides development support for key grant application components to ensure that proposals are completed in time for a 2025 submission.
Eligibility: CHOP trainees ready to submit an Individual Fellowship Award (NIH F Series), Career Development Award (NIH K Series), or equivalent foundation award in 2025 are eligible to apply.
Applications are due Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, by 5 p.m. Complete the application in REDCap. Accepted participants will be notified by e-mail in early February.
Attendance at five interactive sessions and several small group sessions is required:
- Orientation and Developing Your Specific Aims
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2005, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Developing Your Biosketch, Career Development Plan, and Research Strategy
Wednesday, March 12, 2005, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- eSPA Training Session and Sponsored Projects Officer Meet and Greet
Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Group Review and Open Question & Answer
Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Mock Study Section
Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Mentored Grant Review
Organized May through July of 2025
- Peer-to-Peer Grant Review
