Center for Human Phenomic Science Junior Investigator Preliminary/ Feasibility Grant Program Award Announcement

The Center for Human Phenomic Science (CHPS) is pleased to announce Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvania recipients of the 2020 Junior Investigator Preliminary/Feasibility Grant Program (JIPGP) awards.

The JIPGP awards are intended to support the work of promising junior investigators by providing grant support as well as reduced cost access to the infrastructure and support services of the CHPS.

The awardees are:

“Effects of serotonin and dopamine on persistence for delayed rewards”
Karolina Lempert, PhD (Penn)

“Childhood neurodevelopmental and immune phenotype in PTEN hamartoma tumor syndrome”
Suzanne MacFarland, MD (CHOP)

“Improving understanding of neuropathophysiologic mechanisms of disease in hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia through advanced neuroimaging techniques”
Elizabeth Rosenfeld, MD (CHOP)

“Deep phenotyping of the acute effects of exogenous ketone therapy in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction: an active‐controlled, crossover trial”
Senthil Selvaraj, MD (Penn)

“Neurocognitive functioning in pediatric atopic dermatitis"
