Partners for Child Passenger Safety

Partners for Child Passenger Safety (PCPS) applies the Center for Injury Research and Prevention's interdisciplinary research-to-action approach to examine injuries from many perspectives and determine the most effective ways to improve child safety in motor vehicle crashes. For more than a decade PCPS has informed new product development, test protocols, federal motor vehicle safety standards, public education and curricula, policy, and medical practice to advance the safety of children in motor vehicle crashes. PCPS research has set the global standard in child occupant protection knowledge. More than 60 PCPS papers have been published in scientific journals, demonstrating the system's scientific rigor.
